Jamie Lee Curtis 1st Oscar Nomination!


Jamie Lee Curtis has been in a number of amazing films over the years. Throughout the horror community she is known as the "Scream Queen" under the role of Laurie Strode. She has had many films throughout that many feel are Oscar worthy a few being Halloween 1978, Halloween 2018/Kills, True Lies, Freaky Friday, and many more amazing films. After a long and exhausting career Jamie is finally able to celebrate being nominated for an Oscar!

The Oscar is for her supporting role in the movie "Everything Everywhere All at Once." I personally have never seen the film but with her being a in the film there is no doubt in my mind it is less than great. An old friend of Jamie that goes by the name Debbie had previously won an Oscar decided to show up to watch the announcements with Jamie when she was officially nominated for her chance at the best supporting role Oscar.

Though Jamie is finished with the Halloween Franchise fans will always remember what she has done for us as fans. She will forever be our Laurie Strode even when they reboot the franchise without her one day. Jamie has been in a total of 7 Halloween films making her the longest running final girl in the horror community. 

Jamie Lee Curtis is the daughter to Janet Leigh who starred in the well known film "Psycho." As time has gone on Janet has played in a few films along side her daughter Jamie. Halloween H20 being a big film she played in with her.

Jamie Lee Curtis is a true artist when it comes to acting. She acts purely for the fans, during the filming of Halloween 2018 she was only paid $13,000 for her role as Laurie Strode in the newest Halloween Timeline. With her role being so large it came to be very shocking to see how little she was actually paid.

That is one amazing thing the writers have always been good at. so lets talk about some details that have been on my mind.
